8 months old!

Where has the time gone? Our baby girl is 8 months old today! So far she has two teeth, and we think she mayb be working on a 3rd one, but its not through yet. She's still pretty much in 6-month sized clothes, although with the change in seasons, we're mostly buying 9-month size and just rolling it up/tucking it in. Not quite sure how much she weighs, but if I had to guess I'd say somewhere around 14.5lbs or so. Something VERY exciting has been happening lately with Reese...her hair is just starting to grow! When she was first born she had fuzzy red hair and a lot of that has fallen out or was worn away by her scooting on her back. Lately, the parts that have been bald have been filling back in! And guess what? Its still red! In the past week, Reese has shown an increase interest in crawling and does a pretty good job of getting from sitting down to laying down and then wiggling all over as she tries to get up on her hands and knees. Mostly she ends up just pushing herself backwards with her arms, though. Look out world...this girl's going to be moving and shaking in no time!

8 month likes - mommy and daddy, watching sesame street, elmo and super why, playing in the jumparooo, playing outside and watching the trees, binkie, blankie, watching other kids play, eating paper and cardboard, licking things like the floor and people's arms, her toys, blocks, yelling really loudly in the am and when other people are trying to talk or watch tv, saying "dadadadada", scrunching up her face and breathing fast like a puppy, swinging at the park, being tickled, peekaboo, when people sing songs and clap to her, going for walks, sitting in the grocery cart like a big girl, mobiles, trying to eat her socks and shoes, typing on the computer, looking in the mirror, pulling magnets off the fridge, sweet potato flavored puffs, when mommy feeds her bits of banana and sweet potato by hand, petting Paco, playing chase with Paco, and giving hugs to mommy and daddy.

8 months dislikes - having to wait a minute, getting changed, being hot, being fed by a spoon, going outside when its too sunny or hot, seeing the bottles being made when its not time to eat, the binkie when she's frustrated, teething, going to bed at night, when too many people try to get close to her before she has a chance to warm up to them, being in the car too long, trying new foods (wonder where she gets that from?), and having her face washed.
