St. Patrick's Day is a pretty fun day around here, but unfortunately this year we had to miss our parade due to the weather...bummer. Fortunately though, the actual day of was beautiful weather and we spent our first day playing outside after a long long long winter. It really was the first green of spring this year! And our girl had a blast reconnecting with the backyard even though her toys were still covered up, the grass had a lot of sticks and leaves on it, and there wasn't really much to do back there. I couldn't get her to sit still for a picture b/c she was so busy and so serious peeking into every nook and crany of the yard! And she and I decided she could practice doing some of her (suggested by EI) heavy work...don't let the grimace fool you, she was having a fun time carrying that rock around!

She's going to kill me for this someday.

So I'm making some minor changes. Nothing big and if you read in google reader, you won't notice anyway. April first undoubtedly is a weird day for me so I'm preparing this time...I've been surprised by so many strange things on April 1st for so many years now, that I'm hoping preparation is the key to staving that off. Happy early April Fool's Day!
