10 months old!!

Our little girl is now 10 months old! Reese spent her 10 month birthday doing her regular stuff...eating cheerios, playing with mommy, getting tickled, going to daycare, cuddling on everyone's laps, taking a nice evening nap, and singing with daddy. She has started to mimic us when we speak and yesterday daddy had her singing "Row row row your boat" which sounded more like "rororororororo" but it was music to our ears. Reese likes to chase Paco all over the house (which he instigates and loves as much as she does), play peek-a-boo, and act cheeky when its time to eat. She's getting more hair and still has 6 teeth, almost 7. Today Reese got the first part of her flu vaccine and she was very brave. She sat on mommy's lap and only gave a little whine when she got the shot, but no tears or crying at all. She has recently started wearing size 3 diapers and they're a little big on her, but its ok. She's still wearing size 6 month tops, but size 9 month pants b/c of her long legs. And yes, she's still wearing the same 3 month sized onsie in the picture....its starting to wear a little thin and might actually wear out before she grows out of it!

Our girl is moving around like crazy and getting her to sit still for pictures is getting more and more difficult as you can see....she's so curious about everything around her and would rather explore the world around her rather than stare at mommy and the silly camera.

10 month likes - mommy and daddy, playing with other kids, singing songs, music, playing with toys, chasing Paco, playing tag or chase, peek-a-boo, giving kisses, high five, binkie and blankie, clapping hands, peas porridge hot, patty cake, hide and go seek, goofing around and being wiggly, trying to climb up on things, playing ball, reading books, eating books, animals (especially dogs that act like cats and don't lick or jump on her), trying to grab the camera (uh-oh!), dancing, the baby in the mirror, the magnets on the fridge, going for walks, going to restaurants, cheerios, yogurt, bananas, raisins, shoes (anyone's), socks, looking out the window, watching tv, grabbing things she shouldn't grab like the remote or computer wires, playing with paper and magazines, climbing on the baseboard heaters, harmonicas and other musical instraments, crawling all over the house, going down stairs by herself, and practicing standing. I'm sure there's more...she's a happy baby who really likes almost anything!

10 month dislikes - getting her picture taken, getting her diaper or clothes changed, being in the car for too long of a drive, when she's sleepy or hungry, bumping her head, falling down, strangers, being told "no biting" or "no pinching" by mommy, being held when she wants to get down (which is rare, but she makes it obvious), being fed with a spoon when she doesn't want to eat.
