11 Months Old!!

With the hustle and bustle of Christmas, do you think I forgot our girl's last "month" birthday...sniff sniff, what happened to our little tiny baby? Yes, she still fits into that 3 month sized onsie (getting snug though) and yes, we use a harmonica to make her laugh, smile, and sit still for the camera.

11 Month Likes: harmonicas, music of any kind, dancing, mommy and daddy, playing games like peek-a-boo/chase/ride the horsey/high five/tickles/where's the light/and any other teasing silly game, puzzles, blankie and binkie, books, paper, magazines, playing the drums, cheerios, yogurt, puffs, mozzarella cheese, hot cocoa, being held, throwing toys especially blocks and balls, making scratchy noises on fabric, Paco, her babysitters, pictures of animals, magnets on the fridge, pulling up to stand on things, singing songs, being upside down, pulling off her socks, taking baths, sleeping with mommy and daddy, using sign language, shoes, shaking her head "no", pulling on wires, daddy's box of office supplies, pens, showing you anything she picks up off the floor, christmas cards with pictures of kids on them, putting things into a bucket/looking at them/taking them out of the bucket, waving hi, looking out the window, playing in the laundry, pretending to fly, sippy cup of water, seeing other kids, trying to grab at mommy's camera, crawling fast, snowglobes, pulling everything off the table and throwing it on the floor, watching tv kids' shows, giving hugs and kisses, brushing her teeth, banging on the keyboard when mommy is trying to type, jewelry, and any type of game that involves making a lot of noise and throwing blocks or other objects into a bucket.

11 Month Dislikes: getting dressed or changed, being put down, her crib, the carseat, hats, having to wait a minute, being left alone in a room, being over tired (she gets very angry), waking up in the morning, getting stuck in small spaces, scary movies, overfriendly dogs, strangers, the camera that takes your passport photo, Santa Claus, when people are laughing loudly or making a lot of noise and not paying attention to her, carrots and other disgusting veggies/food, when someone else is in mommy's lap like Paco or a babydoll, having her face/tear duct cleaned, and being told "no".

Words/Phrases she knows: yes, no, Paco, bear, Ursula, christmas tree, where's the light, where's reese's hair, yogurt, puffs, cheerios, cheese, milk (word and sign), down (word and sign), pick up, all done (word and sign), more (word and sign), high five, so big, waving, clapping, dance, binkie, blankie, baby, come here...and she also knows that if you are pointing at something and tell her to look at it, she will look where you are pointing rather than at your hand! Smart girl!
