7 months old!!

Can you believe our little one is 7 months old today? She's getting to be a real funny little girl lately. She grabs for everything and most things go in her mouth. She likes to "help" mommy type and knows what the remote control and the computer are. She also LOVES our Paco and reaches for him everytime he comes near...he's pretty slick and has learned how to stay just out of her reach, though. Our girl still won't eat any food, although today for the first time she ate some sweet potatos all by herself and actually seemed to like it for about 3 minutes! Reese is a happy baby who babbles all the time and loves to be tickled, although don't be fooled...she's no pushover and will kick and smack you if she doesn't like what you're doing. Her favorite things to say are "tat tat tat" in a whisper voice and "dadadadadada" in a high pitched voice. She also says something that sounds like "I like that" and "hello" quite a bit. Unfortunately she's camera shy and I can't get her to do it if she sees me with the camera...I'll catch her one of these days, though.

7 month likes - mommy, daddy, playing in bed, rolling around in blankets in mommy and daddy's bed, mobiles, playing with her toys on the couch, grabbing at anything in reach, her remote control toy, pink poodle blanket, binkie, teething toys, toys that make noise, sitting in her high chair, reaching for Paco, hanging upside down, tickles, playing "So Big", riding on your knee like a horse, kisses and hugs, riding in her stroller, watching other kids play, elmo, cookie monster, and a few other weird kid shows that I don't know the name of, banging on the floor with hands and feet, scratching things, talking loudly, mommy's singing, and rolling around while getting changed.

7 month dislikes - eating food, getting dressed or changed, roadtrips in her carseat, baths when she's overtired, having patience, vitamins, strangers, dogs that are overly friendly, manicures and pedicures, the camera/videocamera, seeing mommy leave the room, and going to bed at night.
