21 months!!

Isn't this a weird picture? You can really see her little belly, but I think she must have gone boom right after I snapped.

Snug as a bug in her 3 month onsie.

Our big little girl turned 21 months last week, and she's been a moving and shaking like only a 21 month old can since then! Our girl is moving into 18 month sized clothes, still wears size 3 diapers, and is now in a size 4 shoe. Her hair is getting quite long in back and so we're debating on giving her a little trim, although she still has almost no hair on the sides, very little on top and just fuzz along the base of her hairline.
Some things that Reese likes talking about: animals of all kids especially horses, bees, butterflies, geese, alpacas, cats, pigs, cows, and CHICKENS of course. She likes to make all types of animal sounds and sing songs about animals. She's especially in love with Dora, Diego and The Backyardigans lately and knows many of their songs. She's also a big fan of singing Laurie Birkner songs and dancing in her room. She's really starting to like her swimming lessons and practicing her moves including "scoop your arms", "kick your legs", "lay on your back" and "blow bubbles". She knows almost all of her body parts and is getting REALLY good with her colors as well...she still messes up green and red a lot, but knows most other ones. She likes talking about her friends at school and even some of her somewhat rivals at school. She loves talking about her grandparents and pointing at their pictures. Lately she's been very interested in monsters and ghosts, which I think is because it's Halloween time. She's not afraid of them, but likes to talk about how spooky they are. She loves all of her books, especially her Llama Llama ones, which she calls "Paca books" and will imitate the "mad paca" face and how "pacas eat". She likes to go up and down the stairs alone now and mimics us saying "sloooooow slooooow sloooow" to her. She loves to play hide-n-seek, ring around the rosie, duck duck goose, and a bunch of other silly little games including one she made up that includes spinning really fast and yelling "whoooooooaaaah!" She likes to draw with her pens (aka crayons) and take care of her baby dolls. She's very interested in what goes on with the potty lately, although is not quite ready for potty training yet. She loves shoes and boots and nailpolish and all kinds of very girly things. She calls herself Reesey now and she knows that she is one and that she has blue eyes and red hair. She can say all the letters of the alphabet and knows a lot of the song, although only will do it when she's in the mood. She'll talk about just about anything with you and can hold some pretty long converstations. She loves giving hugs and kisses and "nice touch" and butterfly kisses. She loves her Halloween costume and wears it a lot...she calls it her "kicken pants and kicken coat"...can you guess what she's going to be? She likes dinosuars and marching around the house like one. She likes to be chased and often yells out "catch me!" and she scuttles by. Unfortunately, she also likes to talk about hitting, but we're working on that. She has this devious little face that she makes when she talks about it that is almost too cute to for words, and she knows it. The longest sentence she's said to date is "I don't want her to do that". Not bad!
Stuff that she does not like: being overwhelmed by large crowds of people, especially when they all happen to be wearing halloween costumes. She does not like new foods or when people ignore her. She does not like time out or being told that she can't watch her favorite shows. She still doesn't love being in the car, but like most things she will deal with it. She doesn't like getting dressed or changed, and that is when most of the hitting goes on. She also prefers showers to baths lately, although doesn't like when it's time to rinse her hair.
