halloween

So our girl celebrated her second Halloween last week and boy was it fun! She was a chicken...obviously...and despite some of the cranky pants faces she is making in these pictures, she actually LOVES wearing her "kicken pants and kicken coat". Our town goes ALL OUT for Halloween and it's fun every year, but now with Reese it's even more fun. We went trick-or-treating around town and Reese didn't really understand that too much. She liked all the kids and she liked yelling for "teeeets", but was a little intimidated by going up to people's houses, especially if they were dressed up. At one point our entire block errupted into a "Lets Go Yankees" vs "Lets Go Phillies" chant since we were in the midst of the World Series, and that was hysterical...especially since Reese and I were rooting for the Yankees despite J's choice to root for the Phillies. After a little trick-or-teeeeeeting, we came back home and Reese had a BLAST handing out candy to the kids. She stood on our stoop yelling out to kids across the street "Hey kids! Want teeeeeets? More teeeeeets! More kids! Come 'ere!" It was adorable! Our little chicken sure had a great time and I can't wait to see how much more fun every year will be.
