sick..again...still

Our girl has battled the evil daycare germies since September and for the most part, they've been winning. This is her first year in "school" and so it's her first time being exposed to so many germs at once and she's really had a tough time with it. For about 4-5 weeks she had a nasty dry cough, although the pediatrician wasn't too worried about it. Last Sunday it got a little thicker and nastier sounding and so we called the pedi and they saw her on Tuesday as soon as they could. She was diagnosed with a double ear infection, RSV and bronchitis. The good news is that they said we caught it really early (since we've been keeping such close tabs on her cough/sicknesses) and so she did not need hospitalization which is sometimes the case with RSV. She's on a super dose of antibiotics, cough medicine, tylennol, and a nebulizer 4x a day. Poor baby has spent more time sitting on the couch watching on-demand episodes of her favorite buddies for the past week while J and I work like dogs trying to have one of us home at all times. Mom and Dad are exhausted...and so is Reesey. I have a picture of her like this from everyday this week after taking her for her walk and some fresh air. At her follow up this morning the doctor said she's on the mend, but she needs a few more days of couch potato time and then can go back to school on Tuesday.
