We took our girl to see some friends for dinner this weekend in NYC. This included a ride on a choo-choo, so fun! I think Reese said choo-choo no less than a million bazillion times on the ride there. She also kept asking if the trees were going to fall...which took us a while to figure out, but eventually I remembered that we'd recently watched a Thomas episode where trees had fallen down and the trains helped rebuild the forest by bringing in more trees. Smarty pants! She also yelled out a lot of "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!!" when we went over high bridges and laughed the whole time. She LOVED the train! When we got to our friends house, we found they had a great outdoor space with a really fun patio railing. Reese swung around on that railing almost the whole time we were there, although after realizing she could fit through the slats, we couldn't leave her alone for a second....good opportunity for some cute pics, though! She also loved picking up all the soda and beer bottles and checking them out and was told "You're going to be a blast at the frat parties, Reese!" Hmmmm, don't know how I feel about that just yet. We love visiting the city and it seems so does our girl even if it does wear her out so much that she sleeps through the whole choo-choo ride home.
