And just to brag a little...I read in a book last week that babies should be able to start stacking objects, like blocks, on top of each other at about 16 months old. Reese stacked these (with a little help from the wall) all by herself about two weeks ago at 14 months old. Good girl!Friday, April 17, 2009

When Reese started walking, she lost some of her words....actually, she lost almost all of her words. It seemed like she was learning a new word everyday for a while there and then as soon as she took that first step, it all stopped. She stopped saying the words she knew and she stopped learning new ones. Now that she's been walking for a while she's back to talking (nonstop!!) and has pretty much remembered all of her former words except for a few...she no longer says toys or guys, but she does say ball and baby. One of her words changed...Paco. Paco was the first word she really said, and she said it like "Ah-ta-toe". It was adorable! But he's no longer Ah-ta-toe...now he's Buh-bo. Just as adorable and a little closer to his real name.
