The other day after we had her pictures taken, we strolled around the store a little and saw the potties. Reese knows the word "potty" and she will point at the toilet and say potty whenever she sees one. She also knows that you can sit on a potty and flush a potty, and has figured out how to flush ours. But other than that, she's clueless about what the potty is really for, which is fine...she's only 18 months old afterall. So when we saw the potties in the store the other day and she pointed at them and yelled (loudly) "potty! potty!", I figured then was as good a time as any to let her pick one out and bring it home so she can get used to it. So she picked out the most princessy of princess potties...interesting. It has buttons on it that play music and I think that's what she liked about it. We brought it home and set it up and she's had fun sitting on it and opening/closing the lid since then. She says "all done" when she closes the lid, "yay" when she sits on it, and "potty" everytime we walk by it. She also put Pooh in the potty...not poo, but Pooh. Poor Pooh.
